Thai Rice Porridge or known by the local as "Joke" is a type of rice porridge or gruel most often served with side dishes such as meat, fish, and flavorings.

Another way of congee found in Thailand is the one is already seasoned, along with meat added with egg. It is common to also add some sort of offal such as pork/chicken's liver, lung and intestine.
