Original name
Beghrir
Thinner than the pancakes, thicker than crepes, "Beghrir" (one baghrira) is a crepe with a full face of small holes. The French call it the thousand-holes!
The holes promote the absorption of the sweet sauces ( #melted butter and honey)# used to sprinkle the Beghrir. The dough of Beghrir is lighter and ferment more than its French sister (the brittany crepes). That is certainly the secret of a good Beghrir, fluffy, and hold the hard promise of thousound holes.
